The strong argument for organic cotton...
There are many reasons that organic cotton is more sought after than than conventionally grown cotton. By avoiding the use of chemicals and pesticides during the growing process the materials are less likely to cause reactions in people who are sensitive to those chemicals. The organic cotton creates more pure fibers than the chemically or genetically grown cotton. Not only is process a cleaner fabric, but it is also better for the environment and the laborers working in the organic cotton fields. Recently Flax and Hemp have been recognized as a great material bedding and clothing… food too! For those of us that suffer environmental allergies that are related to chemical sensitivity, these materials are what would work best for our beddings!
