A brief history of Walt Disney

Walt Disney arrived in California in 1923. Armed with Alice in Wonderland, Walt Disney left Kansas City that summer to start a new series of Alice comic stories. Walt would do several stories about Alice and his studio would continue to grow. The popularity of Walt Disney, however, did not strike gold until November 18, 1928 when Mickey Mouse would star in Steamboat Willie at the Colony Theater in New York. Ever since the beginning of Mickey Mouse, Disney would become the most popular children’s movie and storywriter of our time. Today, everything Disney is still the rage from toys and games to Disney bedding.
